Instructions
- Wash the rocks with soap and water to remove any dirt or dust. Allow them to dry completely.
- If desired, lightly sketch your fruit or vegetable designs onto the rocks with a pencil.
- Use the brush tip of the Rit FreeFlow™ Markers to fill in the base colors of each design.
- Allow the first layer to dry before adding additional colors. Layer shades to create highlights, shadows, and dimension.
- Use the bullet tip to add fine details such as seeds, stems, leaves, facial expressions, or outlines.
- Continue layering colors until you’re happy with the finished look.
- Allow the markers to dry completely.
- Spray each rock with a clear sealer of your choice according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This helps protect the artwork for outdoor display and extended handling.
- Let the sealer cure completely before using your painted rocks for pretend play, decorating garden beds, or displaying throughout your home or yard.
