Instructions
  1. Cover table with plastic and gather your supplies.
  2. Add dye color of choice to hot water in a container safe for dyeing.
  3. Put on gloves and place wood beads in the dye bath to soak until desired color is acheived. The longer the beads stay in the dye bath, the darker the color will be. Lightly stir them to give your beads an “organic” look. Repeat to create as many colors as you wish.
  4. Let beads dry fully on a stack of paper towels.
  5. Once dry, position and line up your beads as desired.
  6. Create tassels with embroidery thread.
  7. Using twine, string beads together and loop the tassel head onto the twine. Loop twine back up into the same beads and set aside.
  8. Cut leather cord to the length desired and knot ends to create necklace.
  9. Secure and knot the ends of the twine onto the necklace cord. If needed, secure ends of twine with craft adhesive.
