Instructions
- Gather supplies and cover work area with plastic table cover.
- Prepare a dye bath by mixing half a bottle of Navy Blue with 3 gallons of piping hot water (140ºF).
- Bundle up your sweater and secure it with rubber bands.
- Drop into the dye bath and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the dyebath and submerge in a new bath of ColorStay Dye Fixative, which helps the fabric retain brighter color for longer.
- After 20 minutes, remove and rinse with cold water. When the water runs clear, add some detergent and rinse. Then, throw your dyed item into the washing machine for a quick cycle. Hang to dry.
