Instructions
  1. Gather supplies and cover work area with plastic table cover.
  2. Prepare a dye bath by mixing half a bottle of Navy Blue with 3 gallons of piping hot water (140ºF).
  3. Bundle up your sweater and secure it with rubber bands.
  4. Drop into the dye bath and let sit for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from the dyebath and submerge in a new bath of ColorStay Dye Fixative, which helps the fabric retain brighter color for longer.
  6. After 20 minutes, remove and rinse with cold water. When the water runs clear, add some detergent and rinse. Then, throw your dyed item into the washing machine for a quick cycle. Hang to dry.
