Instructions
- Gather you supplies and cut your ribbon into equal length pieces, around ~40” long.
- Create a dye bath with hot water and Rit Dye in Scarlet.
- Add half of the ribbon to the dye bath and stir occasionally, until it’s your desired color.
- Rinse and let dry flat overnight.
- Tie your ribbon onto your dowel, alternating between white and red ribbon.
- To create the star section, cut fabric to size, leaving additional length to create ties. To have crisp edges, you can either sew, or use fusible interfacing and an iron.
- Tie star fabric onto your dowel and you’re done!
