Create individualized table settings by using your favorite colors and resistance to create beautiful napkins, coasters and table centerpieces. The crayons were used as resistance to the dye by blocking out letters and designs with the help of stencils before dipping in a dye bath. The ribbons and wreath are color coordinated in the same dye bath to create your own unique look.

Step 1:

The coasters that are bare and cleaned and prepped for the dye bath

Step 2:

I used bee and letter stencils outlined in crayons to resist the dye.

Step 3:

This is a simple wreath that is natural and sanded to accept the dye

Step 4:

It is important to use a natural material. I used old silk ribbon as decoration.

Everything was placed in a dye bath until the desired color was achieved.

The colors that I chose were Teal and SUnshine Orange. I love this combination and I think that it turened out pretty well.
