RIT Dyed Electric Guitar

This is a six string electric guitar with body made from pine 2X4's. The body was dyed with RIT scarlet dye. The dye was used right out of the bottle undiluted and with enough coats to achieve a saturated color on the wood. The final finish was shellac sealer, then clear lacquer.
