Tickled Petal Pink for DIY Jeans

Renate

Jeans, jeans, jeans!  All the colors of the rainbow abound. Whether bold or pastel, we can't get enough variations on this fab fashion trend this summer. We're loving this lovely version by Liz Marie which you'd never guess started as very dark and not so skinny. It's a super transformation and we applaud the upcycling of a lackluster fashion yesteryear turned into a fabulous new look. After bleaching out the color, she dyed them in a sweet Petal Pink shade. Very adorable and we're kinda digging the contrasting stitching detail- a remnant of the previous life. Want to see more?  Take a peek at Liz Marie's site for the full story.

On a technical note, even though Liz's jeans came out so wonderfully, the chemicals in bleach can weaken the fabric and also sometimes effect the dye process. Just something to keep in mind if you want to try it.

Edit note: The Rit Color Remover is not recommended for use on denim blue jeans. These jeans are dyed with special indigo dyes which will NOT be lifted by our product. Sorry for any inconvenience.
