Make A Mod (Color-Block) Art Dress!

Remember this sweet number I made last year? Well, I was just thinking that this dye-painting technique would be perfect to whip up a trendy, color-block look for this spring. Just think of all the fantastic color combinations... tangy tangerine? awesome aqua? or maybe you're into a lush lime-green? Whatever your fave shade, block out a fun dress to hit your own personal runway. 

It's a super easy technique, just paint hot dye in geometric shapes on pretty much any dress or top you like. The dyed garment is then wrapped in plastic wrap and "heat-set" in the microwave. How totally Judy Jetson is that?
