Faux Blood Makes a Spooky Halloween Accent

Faux Blood Makes a Spooky Halloween Accent

Dianne

Want to share a little creepy Halloween love this year?  Try making some “faux blood” using ICE Resin combined with a few drops of Scarlet Rit Liquid Dye. That's what Cindi Bisson conjured up for this spooky Halloween decor. To create the bouquet of “ghosty flowers,” she dip-dyed silk artificial flowers from a season gone by in Black dye.  Remember this is a great way to custom color artificial flowers for any occasion.

Faux blood can be a fun accent to all your Halloween activities. Applied to paper crafts, it gives the effect of fresh blood splatters. Or, fill a glass vial or test tube with “faux blood” to make an unexpected jewelry piece. When adhered to skin, “faux blood” makes a fabulous vampire bite or wound when it’s costume time!   Click here for the full tutorial.
