Eerie Dyed Wall Hanging

Eerie Dyed Wall Hanging

Dianne

Did you know you could dye cheesecloth?  Just think of all the spooky Halloween decorations you could create!  Melony Bradley designed this eerie wall hanging using two layers of cheesecloth, one dyed in Rit Tangerine and the other in Black.  Then she stitched the cheesecloth to a canvas backing and embellished it with eye balls made from dip-dyed black wooden circles, twine and felt.  Click here for the complete instructions in the Crafts ‘n Things weekly online newsletter.

Melony has been designing full-time for the creative industry since 2004.  Her work has been published in national consumer craft and lifestyle magazines, including Women's World, Cloth Paper Scissors, Crafts’n Things, Create & Decorate, Green Craft Magazine, Altered Couture and Somerset Life.  Visit her blog at  www.mel-designs.typepad.com
