Capture the Spirit of Christmas with a Candle Ring Wreath Made from T-Shirts!

Look closely, Cindi Bisson made this wreath from a recycled T-shirt dyed Emerald Green. After dyeing, the shirt is cut into fringed squares and hot glued to a craft ring.  The peppermint-looking candies are made from the sleeves that were removed and cut into strips. Half the strips were dyed Cherry Red. Then the red and white strips were twisted together and hot glued to the wreath.  One T-shirt will make a small 6” candle ring wreath. To make a larger wreath, dye 2 or more T-shirts and purchase a larger craft ring.  Emerald Green #582 is a custom Rit color made by mixing Lemon Yellow and Evening Blue together.  Click here for the full tutorial.

These peppermint candies are sure to last forever! Add a tall candle to make a festive holiday centerpiece or hang the wreath in a special place for a bit of holiday cheer. Your guests will be surprised to learn that you made this holiday wreath from a dyed T-shirt.
