- General instructions for Batiking Watercolor Paper
- Crafter's Pick Batik-EZ Resist Medium
- Crafter's Pick Memory Mount glue
- RIT dye: #4, Teal, #13 Purple, Seafoam Green (Formula: 1 pkg. Evening Blue Powder + 3 tsp. Kelly Green Powder)
- DecoArt Vintage Gold Paper Effects paint
- Pear stamp
- 1 sheet watercolor paper (Strathmore 90#)
- 1 sheet light sage green cardstock
- Coordinating fiber yarn
1. Referring to the general instructions, batik the watercolor paper using the pear stamp and the RIT dye.
2. When paper is dry, outline each stamped leaf with a relaxed, not exact outline using the Vintage Gold Paper Effects paint.
3. In the sample shown; the lettering was printed onto the batiked watercolor paper using the computer, and the edges of the watercolor paper were torn to create a deckle effect.
4. Use Memory Mount glue to adhere the papers together to make a card.
5. Tie 3 strands of the fiber yarn around the card.
