A snowy day is a good time to try your hand at creating this colorful Easter table topper and underskirt. Check out the March issue of Clotilde's Sewing Savvy magazine for the easy, step-by-step instructions.
The bunny rabbits were stenciled onto white fabric using a resist medium, and then the surrounding border was painted with concentrated Rit Purple dye. The resist prevents the dye from penetrating the rabbits.
The center of the table topper was dyed Chartreuse, which is a custom color made by mixing Rit dye Yellow and Kelly Green. (Refer to Custom Color Recipes.) Fabric for the underskirt was dyed Rose Pink.
