- General instructions for Batiking Watercolor Paper
- Crafter's Pick Batik EZ Resist Medium
- Crafter's Pick Memory Mount glue
- For girls: #7 Rose Pink, #12 Fuchsia, #13 Purple
- For boys: #30 Navy, Periwinkle (3 tsp Royal Blue Powder + 1-1/2 tsp Rose Pink Powder), #33 Aubergine
- DecoArt Vintage Gold Paper Effects paint, Blue Paper Effects paint
- Baby footprint stamp
- 1 sheet watercolor paper (Strathmore 90#)
- 1 yard sheer #3 ribbon
- Card template
- 1/16" hole punch
1. Trace around the card template onto the watercolor paper. Use scissors to cut the shape.
2. Referring to the general instructions, batik the watercolor paper using a baby footprint stamp and RIT dye.
3. Outline each stamped baby foot with Vintage Gold Paper Effects paint.
4. Use Blue Paper Effects paint to add the baby's name, birthdate and weight to the card as shown.
5. On inside of card adhere the baby's picture and name as shown.
6. Use the 1/16th hole punch to make two holes for the ribbon. Cut the ribbon into 2 pieces. Tie a knot on one end, and thread the ribbon through the hole. Repeat for the other hole. Tie the ribbon into a bow.
